Using my father’s camera I started taking pictures of people when I was twelve years old and I have really never stopped. As I looked around the world my attention was often drawn to the fleeting moments when people showed something about who they were, their history, their culture, their individualism. Sometimes it was a look on a face, an interaction between people, or a caught moment. Whether in the public forum of a city street or in someone’s private living quarters, my purpose is to pay enough attention to really see whatever people will reveal for me. |
